Daily Prompt – You wake up one morning to a world without mirrors. How does your life — from your everyday routines to your perception of yourself — change?
It won’t change absolutely. Why? Because it’s a world of technology and we have smartphones and smartphones have something called a front camera (you figured it out?) and as long as there is a front camera, there are virtual mirrors. So, no need of actual, real and hard mirrors. Ha ha.
I admit that a smartphone screen can’t compare to a real life-sized mirror, but still it would be (and it is) a great replacement for mirrors. The biggest problem would arise for the drivers since they won’t have something called a rear-view mirror to avoid accidents. But then I would simply avoid driving. Anyways, I am a cyclist and cycles don’t need any mirrors. Time would go slow then since no one will be able to use automobiles.
That’s my perception. What’s yours?
