Highs and Lows of the Windows Phone OS

Lumia 1520
An AT&T Lumia 1520 (white). The best Windows Phone there is.

Windows Phones have gone through a lot of ups and downs. Sometimes the users loved it and sometimes they didn’t. I recently read an article on Windows Central by Jason Ward where he explained about the struggles of Windows Phones in the past and also shed light on the the future plans of Microsoft regarding Windows Phones. All those Windows Phone fans out there, you’ll like the article. It is a bit long but explains a lot.

The article is divided into two parts:
Part 1
Part 2

  1. Well these articles were spot on. Thanks for sharing, I somehow missed reading these on Windows Central.

My dad practically walked into a store one day and asked for a Nokia device under 10K and he got a 520. Thank god that sales guy didn’t persuade him to get an Android instead.

    1. When I went to the store to buy my 730, the sales guy was trying to persuade me to buy a HTC Desire 616 or 816 and even the Moto G. But I insisted on having a 730, so he had to hand me one. And I didn’t even let him unbox it otherwise they just start setting up the phone their way.

By the way, do you follow Windows Central too?
