Dear YouTube,

I can deal with ads.
I can deal with buffer.
But when ads buffer,
I suffer. šŸ˜’

Haiku: Inflation

Resources deplete
People always wanting more
Inflation continues

Haiku #5: Citylife

Living in the smog
Life is too monotonous
Daily city life

Power Cuts

The power goes off
Fingers fumbling for matches
Lost in the darkness

I’m on a holiday out at my relatives’ place (1500 kilometres away from my home) now and don’t have enough resources to post on WordPress. The internet connectivity in this part of India is unreliable. But on top of all of it, the most irritating thing is the load shedding. The electricity goes off anytime and comes in not less than three hours (just think how bored I get in that time).

The internet plan on my phone is limited so I have to use it conservatively. So I won’t post or even read if my data limit ends. I’ll be lost in the darkness. If you know what I mean.

Allergic to “E” Challenge

I have been nominated to participate in the “Allergic to ‘E’ Challenge” by Uday at Udayology. The participant has to write a paragraph without any ‘e’ in it. This challlenge was originally created by RedefiningRandom.

Anyway here are the rules:

  1. Write a whole paragraph ( a paragraph sounds easy right?) without any word containing the letter ā€œeā€ (still easy?)
  2. By reading this you are already signed up.
  3. Challenge at least five bloggers to do the challenge. They must do it within 24 hours or it is considered as failure.
  4. If you fail or pass, suffer in the Page of Lame.
  5. If you win, wallow in the Page of Fame.

So here’s my entry. I tried a lot but couldn’t write a paragraph so instead I wrote a haiku. How’s that?

I couldn’t do it
Trial took many hours
I finally did it

I won’t nominate bloggers specifically. Whoever wants to participate can do so.

Haiku #2

A bomb placed somewhere
Rumour spreads across the mall
Stampede incoming

Whenever in any public place, the people hear anything related to explosives (or bombs, in common man’s words), be it true or just a rumour, a stampede is sure to take place. I pondered over it and using a few words make this haiku. I don’t know about other countries, but in India, the crowd’s ears are very sensitive to the word “bomb”.

My First Haiku

I always love reading haikus from various bloggers that it encouraged me to write one myself. After so many weeks, finally I came up with one and here it is:

Morning arises
Small dew drops dripping from leaves
Dawn’s hidden story.

Please tell me how that was…

I was listening to the song I loved
When I heard something crack
I turned to see my bookcase
That fell over my back
